The beginnings

After having my daughter at an early age I spent many years working in a busy financial services company within a customer service department.

It was while finding ways of dealing with the stress of my career and busy home life that I discovered various complementary therapies which restored my energy and allowed me to maintain that pace of life.

As I approached my thirties I became more and more discontent with the thought of working in a soulless environment for the next 30 years, and my spiritual journey began. When it became apparent that the company was relocating, I took it as a sign that it was the right time for a change and became determined that redundancy would be a positive experience for me rather than the negative one that many people (including me) perceived it to be. I believe that my “time out” after I took redundancy was transformational and I discovered my true values.

A chance conversation with a neighbour resulted in a phone call to a Reflexology school, they had one place left for a course starting the next month and the course was on a weekend!! It was meant to be and I then trained at the Kent School of Holistic Reflexology, under Gillian Soutar.

I believe that we should all have time for ourselves, a haven from the increasing demands that modern day life puts on our minds, souls and bodies. I feel that the benefits of touch have been forgotten to a large degree yet, the most natural thing to do if we hurt ourselves is to respond with a rub of our hand. We can all benefit from having time where we are the focus of attention and are cocooned from the outside world. I aim to provide that space for you.
